Lawn Bowling and so much more!
Whether you enjoy the competitiveness of our own intra-club tournaments, getting to know other bowlers from clubs around the state through many inter-club tournaments, or simply prefer more casual morning or evening games, there is plenty of activity throughout the year!
Winter (November 1 -April 30) Recreational bowling begins at 9:00 AM (check-in at 8:45 AM) every Monday thru Saturday. Our summer (May 1 – October 31) schedule shifts games to begin at 8:30 AM (check-in at 8:15). There is also mid-morning bowling also Monday thru Friday beginning at 10:00am winter hours and 9:30 during summer; and evening bowling Monday thru Thursday on our lighted rinks at 7:00pm (check-in at 6:45)
The rinks are also available to members anytime for practice.
Social Activities
Mount Dora Lawn Bowling offers a number of other activities for our members, many held in our spacious Club House with Kitchen. We love to lawn bowl and we also love to party!
There are eight regularly scheduled social events throughout the year (over and above the occasional hot dog Saturdays). These include Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Founders Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Homecoming and Christmas. These are large events featuring either a luncheon or dinner and some may be preceded or followed by bowling. There are also numerous other events during the year.
In addition, there are weekly games of Bunco, Euchre, Pinochle, Mah Jong, Yoga and other activities that are open to all members.
